Movies

The Game Plan [PG] - Starring Dwayne Johnson. A comedy but not so much of a comedy. Slightly touching towards the end.
Enchanted [PG] - Super nice show. The singing the dancing, the Romance, all the laughings. But the ending was rather too simple with the dragon that doesn't suit.
30 Days of Night [M18/Violence & Gore] - Truly a film full of Violence and Gore. Most important is the Gore parts. Haha. Was totally immune to those. I love the film.
The Warlords [NC16/Battle Scenes] - Yeah.. Gonna catch its sneak preview on coming Monday 10/12. Someone has got free tix for me.

Was a total disappointment for me. I hated it. I just can't wait to get off my seat and walked away without having much patience. Though the story was there.. but I could only managed to get only half of what they are trying to get at. The show was draggy. Dark. Not much of the very mind engaging scenes(even with the war and fighting scenes). Weren't powerful and convincing enough. Although the Gore factors were there but again, they weren't impressive and convincing enough. What the people did in the show, at least to me, doesn't project much sense, nope.. none.. just never.. Then there are People who laughed becos' they thought what Andy Lau and Takeshi Kaneshiro said was funny but it does not bring out any sense in me therefore I was in low spirit throughout. "Was it seriously that funny that people laughed as if they were watching a comedy ??.." I even slept through parts of the show as I could no longer hold my eye lids and to control my mind to focus on.. Can't imagine it was a two hour show.. ITS KILLING ME!!
The Golden Compass [PG/Fighting Scenes] - Catching it soon..

A last minute change in plan. We aren't going to catch "The Golden Compass" anymore. One of our colleague actually intended to sponsor us with the tix to this movie initially. BUT!! due to NOT... very positive feedbacks and critics we have heard, we decide to drop the idea and proceed with better ones in relation to the festive seasons that drews near.

Balcony Bar @ Heeren

A nice place for the night hang-outs with a couple of friends. I ordered a cocktail named 'Sex on the Beach'. It tastes just like a tropical cocktail, a concotion with much fruity tastes. Pretty refreshing.
