Life w/o computer is miserable. i hardly touched this computer at home for 3 weeks. Could you feel how I felt for not laying my fingers on the keyboard for 3 weeks..
I know my blog had been rather outdated. but I think I'll do some backdating then. I shall do it from the oldest to the latest event.
29 June - 01 July
For many many days ago. I made a trip to M'sia Genting Higlands with a couple of friends. A 3 day 2 Night Trip. Its the happiest holiday that I could ever mention so far. I was really excited when we set off at 0630hrs to be on our way up to the highlands through tuas. the sky brightens up to a new day gradually. passing through the customs and checkpoints into M'sia. soon enough I got to see some nice sceneries but mostly were plantations, some phenomenal strange features, the KL Twin Towers from far, all this and more during the ride. the best part is when we go swirling up the weaving roads up the highland mountain. breathtaking views of M'sia Island from the mountain altitudes. It was 1315hrs when we reached its peak. total of 6hrs 45 mins of journey (including rest time at stop-overs).
The FIRST experiences
- first luck in Casino and gain some winnings
- first chance holding a bow and arrow in my hands, first attempt to release an arrow from a bow at the Archery
- first feel of an environment with extreme temperatures of (-6 degree celcius) at Snowworld
The SECOND tries
- second time at Genting Highlands
- second attempt for Rock Climbing
The clouds, the fog weren't with us for the first two days, but came appearing on the last morning. we could feel the cool breeze lifting off from our skin. the moment where we appreciated the most of our trip. can you imagine.. nothing for two days, its quite a let down.
we din get to go for the theme parks which were seemingly fun. duh..
EXTRAS
I've came to know about the hauntings of the hotel we stayed during our holiday at Genting Highlands only when I got back to Singapore. I'm total unaware of this story when I went for the Trip. The hauntings? Believe it or not.
The story speaks of a lady who died under the bed. a hotel guest slept one night and came to hear voices or some talkings coming from within the bed as it seems. the talkings are like "wo men bei dui bei yi qi shui.." which means ("lets sleep back to back together..") the hotel guest bend his head under his bed and found the corpse of a lady.
* TIPS OFF
some tips or advise that i've heard of, as a form of practice and for your kind reference when having holidays and during hotel stays.
Be picky about your hotel rooms
- no corner rooms (means don't get rooms which are at its far ends of the corridor)
- no rooms that directly face any staircase or lifts (not even near them)
Before entering the room
- knock the door before entry into your hotel room OR
- press the door bell before entering
- open the door at an angle with your body positioned near the hinges of the door (don't open the door from where you are directly standing)
Upon entering the room
- verbally excuse yourself for entering the room for the stay-in
- be yourself, throw your shoes around, bang your luggages, make loud noise and sounds to reveal your presence
- open the windows for ventilation and to brighten up the room, switch on all the lights

07.07.2007. nice combination. a day where most couples would love to head down to ROM to register for their marriage.
another combination was 20.07.2007 that makes it 20072007.
I actually brought myself to join the queue at Donut Factory @ Suntec. The one place where 12 varieties of doughnuts are sold. There would be a flavour that satisfies everyone. I bought half a dozen consisting 2 Double Choc, 2 Orange White Choc, 1 Strawberry White, 1 Raspberry Dark Choc.
My favourites are Double Chocs and Raspberry Dark.
Caught "TRANSFORMERS" the movie at GV Marina that late evening. Like many newspaper advertisements, movie reviews and entertainment news, reported that Its a MUST WATCH movie of the year 2007. Have you watch it yet? I did and I had it TWICE = 2 DOSAGE of extreme "transformations and actions". LOL.
thursday the 12th
wow.. its the launch of Harry Potter, The Order of The Phoenix. Gonna catch it soon..
was at Marina Sq that evening. accompanied some colleagues for their haircut session at Heatwave Salon.
let me share with you guys something which we don't usually expect. Its pretty funny.
k.. amongst our company there were 4 guys and 1 female. its the female colleague's turn for her hairdo. while the stylist were giving some touches to the hair of the female colleague, they actually had a couple of conversations. after shes done, she came out and told us all that the stylist thought (ME, myself) I'm the husband of hers. we were all like shocked. unbelievable. the female colleauge of ours is a married mother with 2 kids man.. NO WAY..
you know.. i do get a couple of such kind of comments out in public. especially when I have got female friends around me. and stirs up some misunderstandings for people who don't know us or people whom we first met. people will ask the girl "Is he(me) your boyfriend?"
were those good compliments to mean that I'm actually being very gentlemen towards the girls around me or are they simply trying to say that I look old? LOL..
friday the 13th
chilled out at C Clinic @ Boat Quay that evening. have you heard of the place? OR have you ever seen it like on TVs or magazines? Their theme as a pub/bar was to be like a Clinic from its name. They have got waiters dressed up in patient suits. unique way of drinking from drips and syringes. they have got sexy chio bus going around asking if you wanna buy shots from them. they would hold a bottle of Liqour, I've no idea what exactly was that liquor and they'll pour you a shot if you want it. the customers there were really pleasant, especially the angmohs who were very much passionate and over friendly. there was this angmoh lady who offered her help to take a picture of us. C Clinic have got an arena for clubbing. we have not been in there but sure is a surprise for anyone. sure we had lotsa' fun there.
saturday the 14th
MOS here we come!! was with my secondary schoolmates. haha.. club our nite through but not for long. we left at about 2+. was it becos' of the music? we just don't feel great dancing towards those music that nite. we were at the main arena the entire while. was it trans or house music?
we went to the retro room. we felt the same. wasn't high at all. perhaps we were all too tired. we sat down, had our last drink, sleep around and we left for home. I think i would rather be a Zouk. its alrite.. I could actually see the clubbing nites coming again real soon.. haa.
